Before jumping into the battle, make sure to avoid bring teammates with Wind, Thunder, Earth, and Ice moves for Roddy. Players will struggle against Beleth though due to its massive amount of immunities. Funny enough, Roddy isn't the real threat in this battle due to how many weaknesses he has. Like with many Bravely Default challenges, players will need to deal with both enemies at the same time to emerge victoriously.
When you fight against Roddy, you're actually facing off against him and Beleth, the demon who is partaking in controlling Roddy. Players will encounter Roddy after defeating Prince Castor. He has been manipulated to believe he has the power to bring them back. While Roddy himself is massively misunderstood, he is only fighting to bring back his daughter and the only thing standing in his way is the player.
